Very bad for a first timer.

Tonight i did something that i have never done in my life. i felt so nervous while doing it. mixed feeling of fear, anxiety, uneasiness. i was very uncomfortable. imagine doing something you don't do on a regular basis. like rock climbing in the himalayas or go skinny dipping @ d red sea. i went nuts.

i will not go into much details but the ending? so sad..i did very bad; lousy performance..for a first timer.

guess i will not be allowed to do it anymore.

sad.

DIRECTIONS

Now gearing towards its 10th year of academic excellence, UP ADS continues to carry on its main thrust of promoting Development Communication in and outside the UPLB Community.

The organization has produced honor students as well as recipients of leadership and best thesis awards.
UP ADS envisions itself to be the best organization within UPLB and to be the training ground for leaders who will embody character and who will promote development communication by initiating positive change in the community.
And as a catalyst for development, the UP ADS persists in its goals, braving the path that only the daring take.

PROJECTS

With this in mind, UP ADS involved itself in various development oriented activities within the college, the university and the community.

Every year, it sponsors talk and open forum with speakers such as media man Mr. Angelo Reyes, renowned veteran film director Maryo J. de los Reyes, acclaimed “Magnifico” sciprtwriter Irma Dimaranan, Mr. Howie Severino and the most recent, held August this year, was with GMA 7’s most seasoned broadcaster, Mr. Mike Enriquez.
For two consecutive years now, it has also sponsored film screening here in UPLB by the award winning documentary maker Ms. Ditsi Carolino.

The Organization has also conducted symposia and has created radio plugs for Radyo DZLB and TV Plugs for local cable station.
In the University level, UP ADS was one of the sponsors of the three-year old Freshman Interbloc Debate, a tie-up project which served as a venue for discussion of relevant issues.
This group of committed individuals also conducts Street Jam, a basketball shooting tournament which aims to increase health consciousness among the UPLB studentry.
The Fresh Trip, an activity designed to initiate freshman Devcom students about the ins and outs of the college is held every first semester.
Medical missions and outreach programs have been in various parts of the country.
Donations and rummage sales have been conducted for the support of our marginalized countrymen. The organization has also engaged in civic work through book readings, UPCAT reviews, and Adopt-a-Child for Christmas.
